The ANCHOIS are artificial ligaments intended for use during trapeziectomy surgery for thumb carpometacarpal arthrosis (rhizarthrosis). They must function for at least 6 months, the time required for fibrosis.
ANCHOIS are biocompatible and highly porous(400μm) which facilitates colonisation.
They allows intra-operative manipulation as it is pre-rolled over
2/3 of its length.
ANCHOIS are made with knitted polyethylene terephtalate band fibers.
