STOOL STAPLE: Full stability in the staple holder. Sharp bevelled points. Widely spaced, long, tapered teeth. Effective anti-backout serrations.   Advantages A simple fixation device designed for intra- or extra-articular surgery. This staple screws to the staple holder to form a compact, small-diameter (6.6mm), rigid assembly suitable for use in arthroscopic surgery. The spikes prevent the ligament from slipping once fixed. The anti-backout serrations prevent the staple from pulling out spontaneously.
